What is the benefit of scheduling an appointment online vs. going directly to a branch to see a banker?

We know your time is valuable. By scheduling an appointment, you can have confidence a banker will be available to meet with you at your chosen time and discuss your financial needs.

Can I schedule an appointment for today?

Based on availability in the branch, you may be able to schedule an appointment for the same day. You can schedule an appointment up to 30 days in advance.

Can I use my mobile device to schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment with your mobile device by visiting wellsfargo.com/appointments or by using the Wells Fargo Mobile ® app.

Can I schedule an appointment with a specific banker?

At this time, appointments cannot be scheduled online with a specific banker. You may note your needs in the comment section when scheduling your appointment.

What personal information is required to make an appointment online?

You will be asked to indicate if you are an existing Wells Fargo customer, and for your name, email, and phone number to ensure we can contact you for the purpose of scheduling, rescheduling, or cancelling your appointment.

How do I know if my appointment has been confirmed?

You will be sent an email confirming your appointment. You may also request text and push notifications to your mobile device. Additionally you may also receive a phone call from a banker confirming your appointment.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

Will I need to bring anything with me when I come in for the appointment?

Bring your ID and have your appointment confirmation number ready, if needed. You do not need to bring any other documents with you. If you have specific questions regarding your accounts or banking relationship, feel free to bring those documents with you to assist the banker in answering your questions.

To open a checking account, you will need two forms of ID.

What do I need to add a power of attorney to my account(s)?

If you wish to appoint a person to act on your behalf as your Attorney-in-Fact with respect to your Wells Fargo accounts (including loans), you may either sign the Wells Fargo Power of Attorney form (which only applies to Wells Fargo accounts you designate on the form) or present Wells Fargo with a power of attorney you have prepared and executed elsewhere. It will be necessary for the Attorney-in-Fact to visit a Wells Fargo banking location so the Attorney-in-Fact can be identified (by presenting valid photo identification, such as an unexpired state-issued driver’s license or identification card, a military ID or a passport). What do I need if I want to change my name?

If your name change is related to marriage, please bring your photo ID plus your marriage certificate. If it's a name change due to divorce, please bring your divorce decree and supporting documentation indicating your name change. If possible, please call the branch to let them know you will be late for your appointment. Bankers will make every attempt to accommodate your appointment, based upon availability. Rescheduling your appointment may be necessary.
