Can I try out the club before I join?

A One-Day Membership grants you an all-access pass to experience the energy of our community and performers at Life Time. Here are just a few of the things you'll be able to enjoy: luxurious amenities, studio, cycle, and yoga classes, GTX, Alpha, and Ultra Fit Classes, tennis and pickleball court time*, indoor pool access*, and up to two and a half hours of Kids Academy for kids 11 and under*. Please note that amenities and programs may vary by location.

Where do I find membership pricing information?

If I join, how many clubs do I have access to?

Club access is based on the price point you pay for membership. Connect with a membership consultant to request a list of all Life Time clubs you can access with your new membership. Current members can view a full list of clubs you have access to.

What is the Beach Club?

The Beach Club Experience at Life Time includes access to our beautiful outdoor aquatics center, water slides*, expansive lounge area with luxurious seating and a full service bistro. A Beach Club Initiation Fee may be required at specific locations. *not applicable to all locations

I heard a club is opening near me, where can I get more information?

Membership FAQs

What is included with a club-access membership?

Our Standard Membership includes:

Club access (to all clubs at your price and below)
Amenities: workout floor, studio classes, indoor pools, gyms, child center/Kids Academy (amenities vary by location)
Life Time Digital: virtual training, livestream and on-demand classes, and health and wellness content
One-hour onboarding session with a Dynamic Personal Trainer for each member age 14+
One month of group swim lessons when you enroll your junior in recurring lessons (4 complimentary lessons for each child ages 13 and younger)
$25 LifeSpa credit


Our Signature Membership includes all Standard Membership offerings plus:

Unlimited Signature Group Training: GTX, Alpha and Ultra Fit
Early registration for classes, infant care and summer camps
Access to more clubs
Complimentary indoor tennis and indoor pickleball court time*
*Signature Membership court time benefit available at Life Time destinations with indoor tennis and pickleball courts. Signature Membership must be at the price required for access to the selected club.

How can I get access to additional clubs?

Need more Life Time? We can help with additional club access and pricing information. A one-time $10 service fee and applicable dues apply for an access upgrade. Send an email to account services or visit the club.

How and when are my monthly membership dues collected?

Life Time accepts most major credit and debit cards and collects your membership dues on the 1st of each month. If we are unable to collect your monthly dues on the 1st of the month, we will attempt collection each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout the month.

When can my child start using the club?

Beginning at age 12, kids have full access to all club amenities, including cardio and strength machines and group fitness classes.

Can I bring guests to the club?

We welcome guests, whether with a member or as a walk-in visitor interested in learning more about Life Time. As part of your membership benefits, you receive complimentary guest passes each month. Adult guests (18+) using a member guest pass must complete and sign a guest registration and present a valid driver’s license or government issued identification card. Guest hours vary by location. When not extended a member guest pass, a one-day membership must be purchased for ages 14 and older. Ages 13 and younger are complimentary with a one-day membership purchase.

A non-member may utilize a member guest pass once every sixty days. More than one visit within a sixty-day window by the same individual requires purchase of a one-day membership (regardless of location visited).

What is the ARORA program?

ARORA offers low- to no-impact classes, workouts and sports designed specifically for aging bodies to help increase flexibility, mobility and strength. Who do I contact regarding questions about my corporate membership?

Does Life Time partner with Medicare programs and health insurance companies?

Some health insurance providers offer a fitness reimbursement program to eligible members:

A dues-subsidy fitness reimbursement program may be available to eligible members insured by HealthPartners, UCare and PreferredOne. Call the number on the back of your insurance card for eligibility information.

How do I make a change to my membership?

Changes to your membership are accepted as shown below with advanced notice per your General Terms Agreement or Digital Membership Terms, as applicable. Some changes require additional steps to finalize your request — we will respond accordingly.

Suspend Club Access

Unable to use the club for a while? Once you’ve been a club-accessing member for six months, you can suspend your club access for up to four months once per calendar year. During this time, your membership will convert to our Life Time Digital membership for $15 per month, so you can continue to pursue your healthy way of life with on-demand classes, programs, and tools via the Life Time Digital app. Resume your club access with $0 joining fees.

A 30-day notice is required to suspend club access.

Access Additional Clubs

Need more Life Time? We can help with additional club access and pricing information. A one-time $10 service fee and applicable dues apply for an access upgrade.

Reactivate Club Access

Reactivate your club access sooner than your originally chosen reactivation date. Prorated access dues for the remainder of the current month will be collected within three business days.

Upgrade to a Signature Membership

You’ll get it all with a Signature Membership, all in one place: Signature Group Training classes, priority registration for classes, infant care and summer camps, and indoor tennis and indoor pickleball court time (court fees included in membership). Signature benefits apply to all members on your membership and the applicable dues rate is in effect upon upgrade. Members can upgrade online or in app, via email or by visiting the club.

Add or Reactivate Member(s)

Adding a family member is easy. Add a partner member (at least age 18 and who resides with you), as well as dependents age 3 months to 25 years for whom you or the partner member are the parent or legal guardian.

Adding or reactivating member(s) requires payment of applicable monthly dues per member. A one-time $10 service fee may apply and proof of cohabitation and/or guardianship may be required.

Inactivate Member(s)

Inactivate member(s) who aren't able to use the club for a while. A 30-day notice is required, and you may choose to set an automatic reactivation date for their club access. A one-time $10 service fee applies.

Medical/Military Freeze

Freeze your membership for medical or military reasons for up to three months. A physician’s note or military orders may be required. For memberships consisting of two or more people, the freeze applies only to the affected member.

Membership Cancellation

Can’t use the club for a short time or as often as you used to? Consider suspending your club access and convert to our Life Time Digital membership for $15 per month. If you need to cancel your membership, a 30-day notice is required.

Update Payment Method

Securely and conveniently update your payment method(s) used for dues, recurring services (if applicable) and Club Tab (for one-time in-club purchases).
