Wax Museum Book Report: Your students will love to represent their reading with this hands on creative project. I would assign this at the start of the term and give students time to read their book and create their presentation. I like to give all my multiple intelligent learners to experience different ways to sum up their learning!
This project focuses specifically on one type of genre of reading: Biography and Autobiography. I would give my students around two months to read a novel and make their posters and costumes. You could easily do this in a month instead. I would have my kiddos do all their work at home, but it could also be a fun class project.
When I assign my reports I would give students 1-2 weeks to check a book off with me. That way I knew all of them were reading a autobiography genre book. I also would display the mythology books in my classroom library and from the school library.
